Scholarships Available

We understand the economy is tough right now. To that end, we are offering media scholarships to Photographer Makeover.  In twitter, 140-character style, you need to tweet @photojack (DM) and tell him why we should pick you.

Each scholarship will be a full media pass to all presentations, lectures and demos. But each of you will still be responsible for covering your own airfare, hotel nights, transfers, transportation and dinners.

Submission Deadline is May 8th and Scholarship winners will be announced by May 15th.

PM photographer
Need someone to take even photos and daily post to designated SM outlets (i.e. TwitPic, FaceBook, Flickr, LinkedIn). Must shoot digital, own your own camera, and know how to upload images to web.

PM Twitterer
Need an accomplished Twitterer to tweet week long content. And field live questions from other twitters following the event.

PM Videographer
Need someone to document the event, with a basic camcorder. And edit a final ‘memories’ presentation for last session (highlights from the week, set to music).

PM Blogger
Looking for an accomplished blogger to blog post features, articles blurb, about both presenters and presentations.

PM Ustream.tv Coordinator
We’ll be live broadcasting the event via Ustream.tv. Need an experienced technician to manage broadcast process.

PM Podcaster
Would love to provide a scholarship for someone who could post daily podcasts for events. Covering highlights. Podcasting experience…a must.

PM Second Video Shooter
Need a videographer to only cover speaker presentations. Must own appropriate camera and tripod. And have an understanding of audio field recording.

PM Video Editor
We need an accomplished Final Cut Pro (FCP) editor to help edit files as they are being shot. Must own your own computer and software.

PM WordPress / Thesis Designer
Our PM site was built in WordPress / Thesis. And we have much bigger plans for our next event. So we would like to offer a scholarship for an extra hip and cool Thesis designer who can help us with the next ‘version’ of our site.

PM Social Media Updater
Need a dedicated Social Media type to update content throughout the week, on our FaceBook and LinkedIn fan pages
